MOM’S FAV PEANUTBUTTER COOKIES

½ cup wt sugar                               1 egg

½ cup brown sugar                         1 ½ cups flour

½ cup shortening                            ½ tsp soda

½ cup peanut butter                        ¼ tsp salt

½ tsp vanilla

Cream sugars, shortening and peanut butter. Add egg and vanilla. A dd dry ingredients. Roll into balls. Press with a fork. Bakes at 350F for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
