~ Birthday
Wishes
~
I have been making birthday wishes for a while
now since on-line, and someone asked if I would do a tut with the method I
use. It's very basic, and you can get different "looks" depending on your
color or picture you use, so have fun experimenting. You can see other
cards I have made in the
gallery.
This tutorial was written by me, and any resemblance to any other tut
is purely coincidental. This tutorial assumes you have a working
knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.
For this tutorial you will need Paint Shop Pro. I used PSP8 but it can be done quite easily with any
other version. MuRa Meisters Copies Plugin MuRa Meisters Cloud Plugin A tube or image of whatever you want for your card.
Remember if using a tube, use appropriate copyright. font/s of your choice
The supplies I used are
here.
Place MuRa Meisters Filters into your appropriate plugin folder.
~Let's get started!~
Make a new image 300 X 400
remember to save often ;)
Flood fill your image with a color from your tube or picture.
I used #A87476 Open a new raster layer.
Take a second color from your tube/ picture and flood fill this layer,
change opacity
I chose #E0E2D8 and changed the opacity to 26%
Now to create the next layer; copy and paste
as new image your pic
or tube, choose a part of it or all. Take it to MuRa's Copies with
these settings

Go back to tag, Open New Raster Layer Selections, select all Now
copy the image you made into MuRa's Copies and paste, paste into your tag
image. Deselect. Change opacity of this layer.
I changed mine to 24% Open new raster layer.
Go to MuRa Meisters Cloud with these settings

This makes a cloud layer, change opacity to
get desired effect.
I changed mine to 22%
Open new raster layer. Add your tube,
position, add drop shadow if desired. Open new raster layer. Add
text and drop shadow to your liking.
I used BernardFasD & Scriptina as shown above, with a white
drop shadow.
Now, 'copyMerged' your tag
and paste as new image. I do this so that I can save my bases, so at any
time I can go back an change or add.
Image - add borders - use a dark color from your tag, 1 pixel, symmetric
I used #6B383D
Image - add borders -
#FFFFFF, 2 pixels, symmetric. Image - add borders - use the dark color
you used before, 1 pixel, symmetric. Image - add borders -
#FFFFFF, 13 pixels, symmetric. Take magic wand; feather=0 ,
anti-alias checked, inside. Click the white border. Effects, Texture
Effects, Blinds: width 4, Opacity 18, color (usually is the dark color
(I used #6B383D)
), horizontal unchecked, light from left top checked. Keeping the
border selected, go to Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel; pillow preset (preset
included with my supplies.) Deselect. Image - add borders - use a dark color from your tag, 1 pixel, symmetric
I used #6B383D
Image - add borders -
#FFFFFF, 2 pixels, symmetric. Image - add borders - use the dark color

Add your
watermark, and if any other copyrights/licenses. You made a Card!!!
There are so many possibilities... Don't be afraid to be daring an try
different things, this is how you will find your niche ;) Save your card/tag as a jpg
file. ~ The sky's the limit when using your imagination, I hope this tut
will open the possibilities that your creativeness can do.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any
problems or questions please feel free to
